This was a cute story and one that I enjoyed reading with it's lighthearted banter between Hope and Sebastian, although it did deal with child labor in the early 1800's it didn't stray to far into being to dark. Although a good story, it didn't really hold me like the Perfect Rake did with it's humor and charm between the h/h, Perfect Waltz did have a little more of nice sensual level which the Perfect Rake didn't have but that's about it. The humor never really held up along with the sensual level. Overall a nice story about overcoming childhood hardships and finding love along the way, a nice lighthearted read. But don't expect anything heavy from this book.
